Restrictions: No Pic-frames, no shrink-wrap and no saran-wrap.
Five (5) entries per artist, $5.00 per entry, with a minimum of one artwork per person selected by the juror for exhibition.
“off the wall” exhibition, with the juror selecting a “2nd tier” of artworks to be held in reserve. When a Small Works piece is purchased, it may be taken at the time of sale. The show chairperson will select a replacement from the reserved artworks.
A blank tree ornament will be offered to artists on entry day to embellish for our “art” tree. Please return it at the opening, it will be offered for sale and should be marked with the price. The ornament’s sale is a donation to KSA.
The show prospectus will be sent by mail and email at the beginning of November. Please try to have it filled out prior to entry day, as we are trying to facilitate a faster entry process for you and everyone else.

This conference will provide scientific information in layman’s terms on how the cumulative effects of various aspects of climate change are likely to impact Kauai’s future. Each speaker will address “Global Climate Change as it will affect Kauai” for about 30-45 minutes. The experts’ presentations will be followed by a moderated discussion forum, with questions taken from the audience. Another workshop, specifically focused on mitigating climate change effects and actually slowing the rate of change, is planned for next year.
This conference is designed for high school and college students, government officials and employees, farmers, representatives of Kauai’s major industries, including tourism, health care and the military, KIUC, community and environmental groups and interested members of the public.

HULA CLASS REGISTRATION—-Leilani Rivera Bond, kumu hula of Halau Hula o Leilani, welcomes keiki, teens and adults to register for beginning or intermediate hula and Tahitian dance classes starting in June. Call Leilani at 651-0682 or email darryl.leilani@hawaiiantel.net.
On Mondays, classes are held at All Saints Church gym in Kapaa: beginning keiki at 6:00; beginning opio (teens) and wahine, 7:15.
New class for keiki on Tuesday in Koloa at 4:00.
Keiki kane classes held on Wednesday, 3:45 in Wailua.
On Wednesdays at All Saints gym, classes for intermediate and advanced keiki at 6:00; intermediate and advanced opio (teens) and wahine at 7:30.
